1. Vacinations

All pets boarded at PAWS World must be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination and de-worming schedule, presented at booking. Failure to provide vaccination records will prevent your pet from being boarded at PAWS World.

Dog Vaccinations must safeguard against the following diseases: Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza. 

All dogs must have a current Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis) vaccination (within 12 months).

PAWS World will never knowingly accept a dog with the above condition, but as the incubation period can exceed 10 days it may not be detectable prior to arrival. THE OWNER therefore accepts that this hazard exists, especially at busy times.

All dogs will be given a mandatory treatment (Nexguard) at a charge of 50QAR applied at the point of booking. This is to safeguard all currently boarded animals and ensure they remain free from ticks or fleas. 

An effective de-wormer, such as ‘Drontal’ or ‘Panacure’ must have been administered to any Dog or Cat prior to boarding. This should be taken at least a week before coming into the Kennels / Cattery. Please check with your Veterinary Surgery on how long each product will protect your Pet.

2. Medical Records

If an animal has a medical condition of any sort, PAWS World must be notified before or at the time of booking.

If PAWS World has not been notified of such a condition or course of medication, we reserve the right to refuse admission.

3. Emergencies

In the unlikely event your dog becomes unwell during their stay they will be treated at the most appropriate veterinary service as per the animal/condition.

If it is determined by the Vet that the issue is a result of a pre-existing condition, then this cost will be covered by THE OWNER. 

During the period of boarding, PAWS World will exercise every possible care and attention to ensure the health and wellbeing of the pet, however PAWS World accepts no responsibility for problems outside of their control.

In a case of emergency, if the owner is unavailable, the nominated person(s) will be contacted via telephone, text and email.

4. Temperaments

PAWS World reserves the right to refuse any pet that we consider potentially dangerous to our staff.

In cases where animals are left that prove to be aggressive towards other animals or staff, or destructive to our facilities, we may contact you to arrange their removal.

5. Bedding & Toys

PAWS World supplies hygienic, soft bedding as standard for both cats and dogs.

PAWS World staff will include any bedding (home comforts) supplied by THE OWNER for the duration of their stay.

PAWS World takes no responsibility for loss or damage to any supplied bedding, leads or toys.

PAWS World will supply a variety of toys for your dog/cat during their stay.

6. Diet

Your pet will be fed Josera during its stay at PAWS World.

If this food is unsatisfactory and PAWS World do not stock the food you feed, it is the responsibility of THE OWNER to supply enough food for the duration of your Pet’s stay.

If you don’t supply the food your pet eats normally, PAWS World are not held liable for any conditions resulting from change of diet.

7. Payment & Cancellations

PAWS World will not accept bookings at less than 72 hour’s notice.

THE OWNER is charged for each day of boarding in full. Should the owner require an extension of the stay and kennels/cattery is available, they will be charged at the standard daily rate. 

Should the time in boarding be ended early, THE OWNER will be eligible for a refund of the days not used or the days can be held in lieu for future stays at PAWS World.

If the pet that has been boarded at PAWS World was previously a PAWS Rescue, then you will be entitled to 20% discount applied at the point of invoice. 

A full refund will be made providing a cancellation is made with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. 

If a cancellation is made without providing a minimum of 72 hours’ notice, THE OWNER will be eligible for refund, the amount of which will be at the discretion of PAWS World staff accounting for any actions carried out in preparation for the booking. 

A full refund will be made in light of verifiable evidence of extenuating circumstances. 

NOTE: A strict payment and cancellation policy is enforced as PAWS has witnessed several instances of people leaving their pets, without payment and not returning. At PAWS we believe this is the most effective way of discouraging this behavior. 

8. Pick Up & Drop Off

On the first day of boarding, you may drop your pet at the PAWS World facilitiesanytime up to 17:00.

If you are using the PAWS World pick-up and drop-off site, all pets must be dropped off at the Royal Vet Clinic by 08:00 on the first day of boarding. 

On cessation of their stay, all boarded pets will be returned to the Royal Vet Clinic at 10:00 or 17:00 for THE OWNER to collect. 

At an extra cost of 175QAR, PAWS World offers a taxi service that will pick up and drop off your pet(s) at your home. 

9. No-show

A no-show is classed as any booking in which THE OWNER has not presented their pets for boarding within 48 hours of the planned first day of boarding. 

In this instance, THE OWNER agrees that the booking may be cancelled, and THE OWNER will forfeit the cost of the booking in full. 

Any pet not collected form the Royal Vet Clinic on the final day of boarding will be held for a further fourteen days. 

THE OWNER will incur increased daily rates unless satisfactory communication has been received by PAWS. 

If the boarded pet has not been collected fourteen days after the final day of boarding and satisfactory communication has not been received, PAWS World will contact the Police and provide all customer details as pet abandonment is against the law in the State of Qatar
