How do I pay for my booking?
Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment. Details will be supplied once you have made a reservation. If you choose to, you can pay cash on the first day of boarding, when you drop off your pet at PAWS World.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
Due to the high demand, we recommend booking at least one month in advance. As per our terms & conditions, we do not accept bookings with less than 72 hour’s notice.
What do I need to bring with me?
On the first day of boarding you should bring the following with you:
- Medicine (if applicable)
- We feed all animals Josera pet food, if your pet has any special dietary requirements, you need to supply the food.
- Any home comforts you wish to remain with your pet.
Are the pens inside or outside?
Dog kennels have both an inside (air conditioned) and an outside space. All cattery booths are inside.
Can you groom my pet during their stay?
No, unfortunately we do not currently provide this service at the PAWS World site. We do bathe and brush all pets during their stay.
Can you administer my pets medicine during their stay?
Yes, we provide this service free of charge through our on-site Veterinary Technician.
Can PAWS World update my pets vaccination records?
No, we can however arrange for this to be carried out at our parter Veterinary Surgery, Royal Vet Clinic (charges may apply).
What shots are required before boarding?
Your dog must be current with Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis). All Dog and Cat vaccinations will be checked by our team as part of the booking process.
Is there someone at PAWS World at night?
Yes, the PAWS World facility is manned by our team 24/7.
Do you have a vet on site?
At PAWS World we have a qualified Veterinary technician on site, located within our clinic.
What is the cancellation fee?
There is no cancellation fee, if you have provided more than 72 hours notice, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you do not provide 72 hours notice, you will receive a 70% refund.
Can I visit the PAWS World site before deciding?
YES! You are welcome at PAWS World anytime.
Are all breeds welcome?
Yes, our trained team is experienced with all breeds.
How often are the kennels and the cattery cleaned?
Can my pets stay together?
Yes, your pets can stay together at a discounted rate. Selected up to 3 pets per kennel/cattery at the point of booking.
Do you give discounts for long-term bookings?
Yes, discounts are applied for booking over a week. Further discounts are applied for bookings over a month.
What is the daily schedule?
A typical daily schedule consists of:
- 06:00 - Social dogs play group
- 06:00 - Administer medications where applicable
- 06:00 - Clean kennels/cattery
- 08:00 - Exercise boarding dogs
- 10:00 - Feeding time
- 14:00 - Dogs rotated through play area
- 14:00 - Cats rotated through play area
- 15:00 - Dog walks
- 17:00 - Feeding time.
Will my cat be locked up all day?
Your cat will sleep in a spacious three-tiered booth. Throughout the day, cats have access to a large play are with lots of toys and an extrernal verenda space during the cooler months.
